If you're visiting Rio de Janeiro, one experience you can’t miss is riding the Sugarloaf Cable Car (Bondinho do Pão de Açúcar). It’s one of the most famous attractions in Brazil

The ride to Sugarloaf Mountain starts at the Vermelha Beach station and goes up to Morro da Urca. There, you’ll find souvenir shops selling cool T-shirts, handmade crafts, and local art. It’s also a great spot to take pictures.

But the most exciting part happens on the next ride—from Morro da Urca to the Sugarloaf Mountain.

The cable car has glass windows all around, giving you a 360-degree view of Rio as you go up. You’ll see Copacabana Beach, Guanabara Bay with Botafogo Cove, Christ the Redeemer and Tijuca massif. The ride is short (only about 3 minutes each way).

When it comes to food, you’ve got a lot of great choices at Morro da Urca and Sugarloaf Mountain. I went to Clássico Sunset Club and absolutely loved it! It’s got just the right touch of sophistication, with a laid-back, family-friendly vibe. The menu features popular  dishes like shrimp pastel, juicy burgers, and fresh ceviche, there’s also a great selection of drinks.

If you can, try to go at sunset, watching the sun go down from the sugarloaf is a magical experience, before you go, check the official Sugarloaf website to see if there’s a Sunset Party happening! On select days, a DJ spins music as the sun goes down, and the vibe is incredible—people dancing, drinking, and enjoying the view.It takes your experience to the next level   bondinho pão de açucar sugarloaf
