I stayed one night at the Conrad Los Angeles  before heading on a cruise departing from Los Angeles. I was looking for a comfortable and upscale stay to start my trip on a high note, but unfortunately, my experience was a little disappointing.

I booked a Premium View Room with One King Bed, and the highlight was definitely the stunning view of the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The room was very spacious, spotless, and well-stocked with plenty of snack options and a well-equipped minibar. The bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay before my cruise.

Another standout feature was the bathroom. It was large, modern, and well-designed, with a big walk-in shower that had excellent water pressure and temperature control.

The hotel offers a variety of amenities, but I didn’t get a chance to use them during my short stay. Some of the key features include:

  • A rooftop pool

  • A fitness center

  • A full-service spa offering massages and treatments

  • Multiple dining options, including a fine-dining restaurant and a bar

While these facilities sound impressive, a luxury hotel is not just about amenities—it’s also about service, and that’s where the Conrad Los Angeles failed. The biggest downside of my stay was the poor service. The staff was inattentive, borderline rude, and completely indifferent to guests. From the moment I arrived, no one offered assistance with my luggage during check-in or check-out, which is unacceptable for a high-end hotel.

The front desk staff lacks basic hospitality training—not only were they unhelpful, but their attitude was outright disrespectful, their tone and approach were extremely unprofessional. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth the price. If you're looking for a luxury hotel where guest experience matters, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
